We are people who care about your wellbeing, and how best to improve it.
Vanessa Coady (RCC, Director)
When I began this journey, my vision was clear: to honor and embrace the fullness of the human experience in every aspect of my work. I believe deeply that true well-being comes from caring for the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and that when one area is overlooked, healing remains incomplete. Our life experiences and the ways we learn to cope with them shape us profoundly, often leaving lasting impressions on how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
I founded this trauma-focused counselling clinic to create a compassionate space where people can explore their stories, discover new ways of coping, and nurture healthier, more meaningful connections with themselves and others.
While we are beginning with counselling services, my dream is to grow into a multidisciplinary wellness clinic — a welcoming place where individuals can find comprehensive, holistic care under one roof. I am inspired by the possibilities ahead and excited to be a part of a journey toward greater healing, balance, and total well-being for anyone who seeks it.
Why Willow Bark?
The willow tree is a beautiful symbol of resilience, flexibility, and growth, especially in the face of challenges. Its bark has long been used for healing, helping to reduce pain, fever, and inflammation — often in the form of a soothing tea. In fact, it was one of the key inspirations for what we now know as aspirin. We love how the willow tree represents strength and healing, and it perfectly aligns with the mission and values of our centre. That’s why we’ve chosen it as the central motif, reflecting our commitment to supporting growth, healing, and resilience on every journey.
