Coverage Options

Extended Health Benefits

Many extended health plans (through work or private insurance) cover counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) or other licensed professional. Coverage varies, so we recommend checking your plan to confirm:

  • The type of provider covered (e.g., RCC, psychologist, social worker)

  • The annual maximum available

  • Whether direct billing is possible, or if you’ll need to submit receipts

We provide official receipts so you can easily submit for reimbursement.

ICBC Claims

If you’ve been in a motor vehicle accident, you may be eligible for counselling sessions covered by ICBC. We are an ICBC-authorized provider, and can bill ICBC directly for approved sessions—no doctor’s referral required. Only some of our counsellors provide ICBC counselling, so please make sure to select the correct sessions on our scheduling software.

Learn more on our ICBC Counselling page.

Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)

If you’ve been impacted by a crime, you may be eligible for counselling sessions covered through CVAP. Some members of our team are experienced supporting clients through this process and can bill CVAP directly once your claim is approved.

Payment Options

For clients paying privately, we accept:

  • Credit cards

  • Debit (in-person)

Payment is due at the time of service, unless sessions are billed directly to your insurer (ICBC, CVAP, or other approved program). Regardless of how you choose to pay, a valid credit card is required on file to book with us.

Sliding Scale Options

We understand that finances can sometimes be a barrier to accessing support. To make counselling more accessible, we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on income and individual circumstances. These spaces are designed to ensure that those who need care most are still able to receive it.

If you’re interested in sliding scale availability, please reach out—we’d be happy to discuss options with you.
